Persona 4 (ps2) - 19.99 @ Amazon (dead)

sweet deal... just bought it from GS though. Still amazon charges me tax so I guess it would of cost more since GS had an extra $2 off.

Still, it's really nice to see Amazon one-upping the competition. Makes me feel all tingly inside. (But Disgaea 3 still needs to drop ~$3 on there :bomb:)

Damn, Amazon would of had my money if they had only price matched gamestop last month when it was 20 but it went back up. Just got this the other day at Gamestop.
 
Do you guys think it'll stick around and even drop in price more, or do you think it'll go the way of so many other Atlus RPG's?

Persona 4 was $19.99 as I checked from Android this morning. An hour later, it was up to $35.13 from NYC electronics. That tells me that Amazon is personally listing for $19.99, but only for their own stock. I would suggest checking through the day as Amazon may locate more stock.
 
Persona 4 won't become rare (it even got a GQD reprint) but it's going to be one of those games people will look out for later down the road.

Dude, I saw two copy's of this game at Gamestop. It was part of the whole Gamedays sale. It was marked 19.99. Didn't buy it because I practically played it watching it on Giantbomb and I don't own a ps2.

You can get it for 17.xx with the 10% off code, new.

Persona 4 got a GQD reprint? That seems strange given Atlus probably printed sufficient copies. Are you sure about that? It's also strange because I don't think GQD even has it in stock anymore.

I recall Amazon getting an exclusive reprint of Persona 2 but I don't think Persona 4 was ever reprinted.

That said, I don't think any of the Persona titles have been reprinted through GQD yet.

Economically, I don't see any more PS2 titles getting the reprint treatment given the console's life cycle is over, Sony isn't pushing more PS2 sales, and new releases are generally done (minus the licensed titles and EA sports games).

I'd like to see GQD reprint the Xenosaga trilogy for those who missed it (esp. since III seems to be ultra-rare). I have the trilogy and I know a lot of people who won't play 1 and 2 because 3 is too expensive to get.
