Hey guys, I know it has been discussed before, but POTC (individual is on sale at BB) the online price is 14.99 with retail price of 34.99.

The 34.99 retail I beleive are for the Steelbooks, any chance of going into the store and matching the price for the Steelbooks?

Yeah I almost picked the steelbooks up too, because the art on the first 2 movies I thought looked really great. There were 14.99 tags all over the whole shelf. I left them because a friend gave me the trilogy blu ray boxset for X-Mas. I'm glad I didn't grab them now because I would've been iritated to find out at the register that they were full price. As a note, though, I ONLY saw the steelbooks on the shelf next to the boxset, and no regular editions. In that case, I may have gotten them to honor it pretty easily. I found it weird to see so many steelbooks seeing as how I thought they were pretty rare and hard to get. They tend to sell out about 10 minutes after open for most movies around here, if they ever even make it to the floor on release day.

My brother picked up Halo Wars PH for 19.99 even though it rang 29.99 at the same time, because their divider tags in the aisle all say 19.99(for the regular version obviously). I know it's YMMV but this store didn't seem to blink an eye at honoring their "mistake". Some of you may get lucky.(Glenview IL location)

I went into Best Buy today with my Upgrade 2 Blu coupons from Disney I got in my email. Saw they had the movies for $14.99, and the Steelbooks. I said screw it, I went over to the Reward Zone computer and printed out Targets webpage for the Pirates movies at $13.00 each on Blu. Brought the Steelbook editions to CS and showed her the Target pages and asked to price match. They wouldn't let me PM the $13.00 price and use the $8.00 off coupons. Figured I got a good enough deal anyway, At World's End & Curse of the Black Pearl Steelbooks for $28.xx our the door. Not bad, I guess. Probably go back for Dead Man's Chest tomorrow (didn't get it today cause I didn't have a U2B coupon for that one.)

How did you go abot getting U2B for POTC movies and what's the deal with steelbooks??
I just used the http://disneyupgrade2blu.com/ website to print a form and send in my Proof of Purchase tabs from my Pirate's DVDs. The steelbooks have the same contents as the regular Blu-Rays, except the packing is obviously a steelbook. Has both discs included.
Pirates movies have been removed from the upgrade 2 blu site for over a week or so now.

I'm new to this I guess I missed out on those???

Yes. The previous poster who said "JUST" was a bit misleading, Blisss is correct, they've been gone for over two weeks now.

Steelbooks don't have codes for Disney Rewards points btw. Just thought I would mention that. I got into the point thing afterwards and looked back at the steelbooks to find that there wasn't a code.

Lucky you... My BBY was smart enough not to PM the steelbooks.
My local Best Buy 2 days ago had the $14.99 paper under the steelbook editions on the shelf.
I had this happen today too. In fact, all that they had were the steelbook editions, no regular ones. When I asked if they would honor the price that was under the tag I was told 'no.' When I asked if I they currently had or had even recently received any regular editions I was again told 'no.'

I understand running out of merchandise, but it seems like this is becoming a problem at my Best Buy, as the last several times I've gone in to pick up a movie on sale they don't have the regular edition but have tons of the special edition with the sale tag under it. Once the item is rang up at full price I'm also told that I can order the one on sale online. So basically my Best Buy is just a gateway to the online store. Which I cannot get free shipping to for some reason...
