You are right it is almost the same just different order and different narrator.

Well darn here I was getting all excited over this deal....only to find out there is an even better one. I will just pretend that I hate Weaver and that I got the "better" version of it.

If anyone is interested the price lasts until 1/06/10.

edit: Turns out the BBC episodes are 8 minutes longer as well. Back to be being pretty happy with my purchase.

yeah- i jumped the gun on this and ordered the discovery set this morning.. no canceling allowed. i may send it back depending on the amazon lightning deal coming up.

but you're forgetting right now theres 10% bing cash back and best buy reward zone points which will cancel out most tax and allow you to do in store pickup.

I don't have a blu ray player so I ordered the bbc dvd version from walmart. I should probably return it, buy the blu ray and wait to watch it when I get a blu ray dvd player since it's only $10 more and probably a hell of a lot better quality.

and also if you get another Blu-ray set on sale for 39.99 or two more you can get the $25 gc or a $50 gc respectively.

best buy...the gc card thing is in the ad for all blu ray gifts on sale at 39.99. I asked two people working if Planet Earth and another set would work and they both said yes. Although Planet Earth is not officially listed in the ad so it might be YMMV
 
does anyone know if you can buy 2 of the same ones? i was looking to get 2 of planet earth for 39.99 each but not sure if they'll allow it.
