I've been noticing that the play-asia prices for region free 360 games are creeping up.
They used to be a bargain at around $39 for the region free 360 games. A few months back they crept up to $44.90 and lately they're coming out at $49.90. When you add shipping to the U.S. they're only around six bucks less than full price now!
What happened to the bargains?
Did they get too much business from the lower priced region free deals and start to get greedy? Maybe the lower prices were just to draw customers in until they became established.
Nothing wrong with it either way. It's just a little disappointing from a customer standpoint.
They were like a secret bargain that nobody knew about. I used to brag to friends about getting a new 360 game for $20 less than everyone else.
Now they're pretty much the same prices as everywhere else.
Lately, Considering the negligible price difference, I'd rather just go to a local B&M and have it in hand right away.
