I'll probably be at the NYC one next week. Anyone else?

Strange, they already had an early event here in Texas in Grapevine. I went. It was pretty cool. They had a bunch of Vitas and 3D displays set up.

Yeah, that was the mall event, right?? Working for a company closely associated w/ Sony, I can tell you these social clubs are gonna be bigger and better. The one that's already been going on in SF has been huge.
I suppose I could go to the Boston one, but I'm pretty lazy so I probably won't.
Not even for free food? lol

Not as simple as that... I'd have to take the T into Boston as there's no way I'm driving in at that hour... $3.40 for subway fare plus probably 45 minutes each way getting there.
Cool, thanks for posting this Pete, looks like I'm okay for Tuesday 1/17. Now I need to Google 154 Stanton St...
It's a pretty decent location. Should be easy to find

These places are staying there for more than just the one night correct ? I want to go to the one in Miami next week but not on opening night. Thinking about going on Wednesday or Thursday to take a look.

Yeah, it sounds like they're going to be open for a while. Though with launch only a month away, it might not be much longer than that.

Yeah they'll be going on for quite a while. I think even a little past the Vita launch.

Nice. Pix...Take lots of them, if you can

Just came back from the NYC one on Stanton Street, quite a crowd! We were limited to 30 minutes or so, was able to get a slice of pizza and played some Uncharted, Little Deviant and the fighter game. The PS Vita is lighter than I expected. Uncharted seems to be missing the magic of the console versions for some reasons, it didn't really impress me. There were 40 treasures in total...

Oh, they will continue to run this "blog show" thing till the Vita is launched, so plenty of time to stop by and play more.

Yeah I heard about the NYC opening. Given the weather conditions, you guys are some serious fans lol. Did you get your hands on any freebies/prizes?

Nope :whistle2:( They ran out of the free t-shirt (actually it's a long sleeve, not bad). The line was pretty long, the Playstation blog guys/gals were very friendly, it's a fun free event, thumbs up!

The PSV units are playing demo games only, so there are no trophy folders in the XMB... The trophies are accessible in the same manner as that of the PS3, so psyched! Uncharted GA has a platinum trophy, sweet :)
