PlayAsia Weekly Specials!
Before someone asks, that version of Bioshock 2 WILL NOT work on a US 360.
Yes. If anyone has any region questions, there is a compatibility chart below the game.

SMT: SJ is of course region free though.

That info should be in the OP... it's misleading when you say the game is "IN ENGLISH" but it won't work on North American or European Xbox consoles.

The Korean version of Bioshock 2 is sort of a collectors item for achievement whores. It stacks on your GamerTag (i.e. shows up as a separate game allowing you to get 1000gs in this version along with the US version). About the only way to find this game before was to know someone in Korea who could get it for you or buy it for $50+ from an ebay seller. Pretty amazing that Play Asia has it listed for so cheap considering what the ebay price is. They must have scored a truckload of copies from some liquidator.

But yes, as stated you do need a NTSC-J console to play the game. Still a must pickup at that price for myself and the other score whores out there.

Just curious, does that mean you can just load your existing (presumably US) save with the Korean BioShock 2 and instantly get all the achievements?
Or do you still have to play through the game again?

No, you have to play through it again to earn the achievements. The xbox considers it a different game so your save files and dlc from one version will not be recognized on another version.

There is one ebay seller who has it for $52 shipped to the US. That is the only place I know to get it.

some reason i was thinking this had free shipping hahahha! It comes to like $24 shipped almost. It is a good deal in price but waiting 3-5 weeks for the item is a huge bummer. If you care not about the wait and get something with multi language covers and such go for it. I dig the mindjack i bought it looks unique same with risen. I am tempted to buy this one just cause i kinda dig the unique look to them.

The scale tips back and forth i just hate to wait 3-5 weeks to get it...
Only the ps3 version will work on US consoles right?
No, they both work on US consoles.

Thanks. Might have to pick it up on 360 then.

doesn't codemasters make crappy quality games? I never played this one, how does it compare to COD, bad company and all the other shooters out there?

please read reviews before buying Red River. It isn't your normal run-&-gun FPS.
