CAGiversary!
How much will a GameStop buy a PSP for? Not sure if you know, but I just wanted to sell it somewhere for a decent amount of money. Not too much money, just a good price for a used PSP.

I thought they were giving nearly $200 for it but that might be with a game or something. If you have the Spiderman 2 UMD I'll trade you for it... CML... :D

Don't you have enough topics already?

God, I can't wait until you get rid of your PSP.

Wow, I didn't know that God had a PSP too. I wonder if he gets games before they get released in stores.

And I open new topics for each new... topic. I do not want to have one thread with three or four questions in it. But I have no more topics to post... YET!!

I have everything that came in the $249.99 value pack, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix UMD, and a SanDisk 1 GB memory stick PRO duo. No Spiderman 2 UMD. Sorry...
Weren't you just looking for speakers for your PSP? Now you want to get rid of it?
I have studied many idiots in their natural habitat (gamefaqs).

When frustrated with their new console or handheld, an idiot may try and relieve his self pity by posting on a message board asking how much they could sell it for, even though they have no intentions to do so.

(Note: this is not to be confused with fanboy trolling, in which instance a fanboy of one system who does not own the other system posts saying they will sell or have sold the other game system with the intention of convinving others not to buy it.)

Yea, but since there are apparently no speakers that are actually good for the PSP, I don't want it anymore. I actually wanted to sell it before I came up with the speaker thing. I f I found speakers that I liked, I'd keep it, if not, I'd sell it.
Then, I was thinking about the speakers, which play music, which is saved on my memory stick. I thought of the pro duo, then related it to the regular memory stick pro. I knew that they had higher memory for the memory stick pro's. I decided then that if there was a way to get the PSP to use memory stick pros, I'd keep it to save tons of music on. But then I went to a site that had an adapter on it just for that purpose. I read the page and decided not to do the adapter thing because it sounded like too much hassle.
Then, I noticed that there was dust on the inside of the screen. I posted a new thread about fixing that, but still do not know how to fix it.
If I figured out how to fix the dust problem, I could probably get a small bit more money for it. I do want to get rid of my PSP, THUG2R, and 1 GB memory stick PRO duo. I just noticed a few things about the PSP and stuff first.

Here's an idea. CALL GAMESTOP AND ASK!

I hate calling stores. I just emailed them about it. ______

I have a few things that I might want to sell. I was wondering how much GameStop will buy them for. Here are the things that I was hoping to sell...

Glacier Game Boy Advance system, 1 game – Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. No original packaging.

Yellow Game Boy Color system, matching worm light, 2 games – Pokemon Pinball, Super Mario Bros. Delux, Game Boy Color black carrying case. No original packaging.

Platinum GameCube console, MicroCon controller, platinum GameCube controller, memory card, A/V cable, power cord, 4 games – Tony Hawk’s Underground 2, WWE Day of Reckoning, WWE WrestleMania XIX, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Console not in original box.

Xbox console, MicroCon controller, Xbox S controller, 2 wireless controllers, A/V cable, new “non-hazardous” power cord, 10 games – WWF RAW, WWE RAW 2, Backyard Wrestling: Don’t Try This At Home, The Sims, ATV Quad Power Racing 2, Madden NFL 2002, Madden NFL 2004, NFL Fever 2003, Amped, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2x. Console not in original box.

PS2 Console, RetroCon controller, GameStop controller, 2 wireless controllers, 8 MB memory card, A/V cable, power cord, 12 games – Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto 3, WWE SmackDown! vs Raw, WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth, WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain, Tekken Tag Tournament, Gran Turismo 3: A Spec, Stuntman, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Def Jam Vendetta, NHL 2002, Madden NFL 2003. Console not in original box.

PSP system, 5v AC adapter, power cord, earsubs, remote, wrist strap, manual, cleaning cloth, 32 MB memory stick PRO duo, 3.6v rechargable battery, soft case, 1 game - Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix. In original box.

And maybe a SanDisk 1 GB memory stick PRO duo.

If you could, give me a price on each different section (Game Boy Advance section, Game Boy Color section, GameCube section, Xbox section, PS2 section, PSP section, and the 1 GB memory stick section).

I know from experience that GameStop usually does not give what the games, systems, and accessories are really worth (at one GameStop, they told me that I had to pay them to give them a game. They had to clean it first, which costed me a tiny sum, and since it was an older game, it wouldn't sell great. So they told me to pay them a dollar and change).

If the price you give is too small for me, I will sell my items at either my yard sale, www.amazon.com, or www.ebay.com. But since I like GameStop most, I wanted a price estimate from you.

One more thing... I was wondering if all GameStops would give the same amount of money? The GameStop that I go to is at this address - 870 Peoples Plaza, Newark, Delaware 19702.

Please email me back. I would be happy to do business with you.

[email protected]

Thank you.

Haven't you seen South Park? God made the PSP!

Oh, yea, forgot about that...
That episode was cool. Maybe if I had a golden PSP, I wouldn't sell it... Or I could sell it for a whole lotta money!

Just put your stuff up on eBay. I can't imagine GS will give you more than you'd get in cash from eBay. My guess is they'll either not respond to your e-mail at all, or tell you to take your stuff to your local Gamestop to receive a quote.

And unless you are holding back the good games it seems like you haven't bought a game for a console in like 2 years. Probably time to dump them.

I haven't bought a game in a while because every time I get money, there is something else I want more. But if I sell all of the things that I'm trying to sell, I will probably get a nice profit...
Well, not exactly a profit, but a good bit of money.

How much do you think I could get for each section of game systems I put in the email? I just want an idea of what the starting price for bidding should be on each of them...

$170 in store credit.

At GameStop? For only the PSP or for the PSP value pack, 1 gig memory, and THUG2R?

Starting bid on eBay...? What should it be for each section of systems? (refer to email on page 1)

If you want to save money, your starting bid should be a penny.

Compared to other eBay auctions, how much do you think I could get. Sorry about asking so much, but I don't want to put something on eBay and get hardly any money from it...

I and believe you fucking emailed their corporate office instead of just calling.
I don't like calling stores, as I said before...
is it b/c u punch in 7 or 10 numbers to call the store and get a quote? most people here on cag don't work at gamestop or ebgames but we try to do the best as we can to provide a quote. but plz, stop asking questions about things on the psp in which u r going to sell soon.

K. I have no more anyway. Whoever deletes these things can delete any of mine whenever...

CML for the pro duo...btw Gamestop is giving $175 for the unit alone.

What if the PSP has 1 dead pixel and a small bit of dust or something stuck under the screen? Do you think the price will lower? How much lower?

Nothing on the list. I think one of my friends is getting a PSP, and said he'd pay a good amount of money for my 1 GB SanDisk anyway. Sry.

Oh sorry I thought you just wanted the PSP value.

1 gig = $55 ( you would get more on ebay)
THUG 2 = $16 - 22
All you need is the PSP and charger, if you have the other stuff it would be extra.
I don't know how much the headphones are but the 32mb is $4 and the soft case is $1.
K, Thanks, I will definately not go to GameStop. I will sell them on eBay...
if someone sold me a psp on ebay and then i found out after getting it it had

What if the PSP has 1 dead pixel and a small bit of dust or something stuck under the screen?

and you didnt say anything about it in your ad i would do a chargeback within a second

I will say the problems in the ad. I will taka a picture of the PSP off (showing the dust under the screen) and on (showing the dead pixel). I WILL get less money than I would without the problems, but whatever.

You'll still make more money with ebay than you would with taking it to Gamestop.
