Ok, long story short, a buddy of mine is really into Steven Seagal. Even moreso now that he does direct to video movies. He's always been a fan, although I guess that doesn't matter. . .

Anyways, he found out Seagal had his own energy drink called "Lightning Bolt". We have been trying to find this without any luck on the East Coast. I've Googled it and it apparently tastes like shit, but I want to surprise him with it anyways since he's been looking for it.

The official website:

http://www.lightningdrink.com/

mentions it's available at "Wal-Mart Supercenters & 99 Cent Stores (classy)" and at "online from the official Steven Seagal Store" which is a broken link that doesn't work (classy x2).

I can't find it at Walmart here on the East Coast, although to be fair, I don't think ours are "Supercenters" which I guess have full on supermarkets in the Walmarts.

Has anyone seen these for sale in any store, and if so what store and what location?

Thanks.

Apparently they don't list food and drink on their website, but I could check next time I'm at Super Wal-Mart. Not sure when that will be, though.

I've been collecting different energy drinks for over 2 years now and I've never seen those energy drinks anywhere here in California. From my experience, if it's not one for the big energy drinks like Monster it is totally touch and go with liqueur stores ans gas stations.

(LOL in the inside)

I can sorta understand about weird fascination for off the wall actors such as Steven Seagal .. my best friend is into "The Hoff" and The Glimmer Man .. so I was surprised that Steven actually have a energy drink and so I went to the product website .. saw the big banner stating "NO SUGAR ADDED" .. okay let me see the nutritional facts - Sugars: 30 grams O_O .. hope someone catches that huge error

When buying some school supplies prior to this past semester starting, I bought a folder from Wal-Mart since it was only 5 cents:

If they carry that, they might have the drink!

I've seen this drink once, and only once, at a local dollar store. Of course, I had to buy it to taste it. The taste is akin to lighter fluid and baby sorrow. Just above Monster.

Now thats funny! ^_^

Seagal's drink is really liquidfied cat dung with dog piss as a distiller.

I always found it in the deli section of SuperWalmarts.... they had them loose in the cooler bins in front of the deep fried edibles... near the potato salads and such.

They had Cherry... which tasted like a raging Gorilla's menstration blood.... and Grape which I never had.

They also had like sugar free, but didn't try that either.

Awful stuff.

If I ever find a can, and you can pay postage, I'll gadly send you a can. I might have to mark the package as Hazardous though....

LOL.

I am amazed anyone has actually tried this stuff. I do remember seeing Seagal on Leno or something several years ago talking about this energy drink and some herbs or something he sells online. Leno kind of made fun of him and Seagal looked like he was going to rip Leno's chin right off.

Walmart is the only place I know of where you can buy this garbage but I have never actually looked for it here in Colorado.

There is a blue one and a red one. Blue one tasted like I was licking a hobo's balls that have been basking in the sun all day. The red one wasn't as bad, but still pretty nasty. They were at Wal-Mart, but got rid of them as well as a pretty good energy drink called "America" (fuck yeah!)

Yeah I've found them at Walmart before as well, and I can backup the statements about it tasting like ass.

xycurry is spot on, that is exactly where I have found them. In the stand where they keep sandwiches and stuff like that, right above next to other energy drinks. I'll check next time I'm there to see if they still carry them.

Yeah our local Wal-Mart use to carry them but not anymore (ghee I wonder why) I use to buy them just because I was a Segal mark myself, but damn did they taste like shit ( I don't know anybody that enjoyed them, most just bought them because they thought it was cool!).

I bought one of the blue ones once. It's the second worst energy drink I've ever tasted. The worst being Red Devil. I won't be as colorful as others but it tastes REALLY bad. If you do find this and give it to your friend, you must warn him never to drink it and keept it sealed forever.

While we're talking Seagal here, has anyone heard any of his music? My dad's friend has one of his CDs, and if you like blues, it's not too bad. Kind of middle of the road with some flashes of brilliance.

@Chairman_LMAO: I think I actually have one sitting on my shelf. My old job used to give us free cds. Not the best selection, but it was free. Unless I'm mistaken it was called Steven Segal and the Thunderbirds.

I tried the blue one a while back too, found in the Wal-Mart Supercenter sandwich case, and can also attest to its awful taste.

Ok, I have given up trying to find these myself. I don't think we even have Walmart Supercenters in New Jersey.

My understanding is that there is 2 flavors. And that Walmart sells them for $1.00 each. Would anyone be willing to pick me up 4 cans- 2 of each flavor- and ship them to New Jersey for like $10? That's $6 for shipping and your trouble.

If it's reasonable I'd like to do it, but it's a joke gift, so I don't want anyone going through any real hassle to do it.
