PM's not working?

I'm attempting to make a market place with another CAG. I sent my info first, and now I'm anxiously awaiting for the reply. The thing is, I can't be sure my message sent. My Sent Messages folder shows up as 0 messages, regardless of the message I sent 2 days ago and the message I just sent today.

Is this normal, or should I try to contact the person whom I'm trading with by another method? Perhaps the PM's are limited to those who have an appropriate number of posts, or would I be mistaken?

The default setting in CAG is to not save your sent items. If you go to your account options (the gear symbol in the top-right of most pages), in the "Messages and Notifications" section, you'll see a tick-box for "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default".
