Straight to the point: Can anyone suggest the best route to go for preordering Emerald (you know, getting all the cool pre-order doodads and stuff while keeping cost to a minimum)? My little sister wants this quite a lot, and I want to see to it that she spends as little as possible.

Thanks in advance.

If you're a BestBuy Reward Zone member, you can always get 3000 bonus points whenever you reserve a game (by "buying" one of those preorder cards in the game section for $5 + tax). The back says I'd have to pay the remaining balance from "$34.99" (so minus the reservation fee, $30). What I'm hoping is that they have a launch-week sale for $30 or $25 and that they'll let me have if for that price and maybe even let me use a GGC. Make sure to pick up the green promo tin and bring it with you to the register when you reserve.

Honestly, though, the only reason I bothered with the game is because of the promo tin and such. I'm a sucker for freebie goodies.

Ah, I/we would probably save more money by not driving to Best Buy; the nearest is 60-90 minutes away. And sadly, I am not a Reward Zone member.
