Sorry if I missed some obvious ones. Every time I think of one these scenes makes me cringe alittle. So whats the most painful of the painful in your opinion
 
The pen-in-the-hand in Bourne Identity was cringe worthy the first time I saw it. Usually "painful" moments are too over the top to really get to me.

Audition would be up there, mainly for the sound effects and ... cooing? (whatever you call it)
 
The Reservior Dogs scene isn't painful IMO. They don't even show anything. Of those you listed, I would have to say the scene from Misery. I can't think of any others, but I am sure there are other possibly more painful scenes.

Oldboy, to me, had a lot of painful moments... most of'em near the end. :puke:
Another one that looks painful is that scene where the Jewish soldier is being stabbed while the Nazi shushes him in Saving Private Ryan. Every time I see it, I reflexively touch my stomach to make sure it's not happening to me.

Yeah, that one is pretty gruesome.

I would have to say, the most painful moment would be the scene in Bride of Chucky, when Tiffany throws the wine bottle into the glass ceiling. That shit would hurt like a bitch.
 
Oh yeah, I just thought of another one. The last 3-4 fights near the end of Ong-Bak especially the one against the guy with the long ass lumber saw.

Or in the new one when Leatherface lops that guy's lower leg off and then covers the wound in salt.

Or in the new Dawn of the Dead where the little girl bites a chunk out of the guy's neck.
 
Didn't see Auditions, the curb scene in Americain History X was great, the scene in Passion of the Christ's Crucifiction and the torture scene was defintly a sick scene.

I don't remeber the name of the movie, it was a late 80's early 90's military/navy seal type movie...set in lebanon...the military went to a newswomen to find the terrorist...the terrorist drilled a hole in a guys knee that was a pretty nasty scene for that time period in film

It gives me the creeps as well.
 
I put my vote in for entire movie salo. Especially the end with the taking out of the eye, cutting off of tongue, sodomy then hanging, roasting of breast and penis under an open fire, all within about five minutes.

Damn, I forgot about that. Change my vote to that. Salo is based on the Marquis de Sade - you know, the guy where the word sadistic & sadism was named from?
 
When they slam the iron thorn crown down on Jesus' head in Passion of the Christ.. yeowch.

On a side note, I have seen, out of most the of the films mentioned, only Pulp Fiction. Anyone wanna describe what happens in all of these scenes?
 
The Pulp Fiction adrenaline shot to the chest makes me cringe every time. I would also vote for the Requiem for a Dream arm shot. That was absolutely impossible to watch straight-on.

The big secret scene in that movie "The Crying Game"- The whole audience in the movie erupted! I was screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

I didnt puke but mentally I was puking.......
 
I'm trying to think of most painful, but I'll share one of them:

RoboCop. Murphy's death sequence. I cringed the first time I saw it when the shotgun blast blows him arm off... they keep firing several rounds at him... and then finally Boddicker blows his brains out of the back of his head.

Some scenes stick with you.

If we're talkin' robocop here, I think it was when one of the stooges falls into a vat of toxic waste and is then subsequently hit by a car.

Yeah, that was pretty gruesome. Also, a few minutes later when RoboCop stabs Boddicker in the neck with his interface needle...
 
Did you guys see this movie called "Bound"? There was a scene where this mobster was cutting off this dude's fingers. That was pretty brutal.
 
The part that made me cringe and make my friends give me my movie back without watching it after this scene is in the Chinese movie: Untold Story. IF anyone saw this movie you already know what part i'm talking about......chopsticks.

That whole movie is fcuked up as it's based on a true story about a restaurant owner who served up human meat to his unknowing customers. Of course the actual events are a bit... exaggerated in the movie.

Well I voted for Misery, cuz she really fucked him up in that movie, but a few others came to mind as I was reading your posts...

Candyman, the scene towards the end where the chick dives into the burning pile of garbage to save that kid, only to burn to death herself. I just can't think of a worse way to die.

Strangeland, anyone ever seen this movie? Dee Snyder is this whacko praying on kids off the internet. Anyway there's a scene in which he implies he's going to give this guy a prince albert... yeowch! They don't show that fortunately, but they do show him mutilating these girls up pretty bad, putting needles through them... everywhere. Really messed up movie.

Then there was Kolabus, I think that was the name, really messed up movie, basically every gets chopped up pretty bad in that film.

I'd also say American Beauty, for the scene in which Lester's wife and that real estate guy show up at the drive-thru window and Lester catches them cheating... not physically painful, but damn that'd tear your heart out.
 
Oh add another one... actually this is my #1, the whole movie The Dentist, with Corben Bernsen playing this deranged dentist that is fucking up everyone's mouth, just drilling like all their teeth out... AHHH even typing that hurts. He starts fondling patients later, but by that time I was just too disturbed.

I have 4 that always freak me out...

1. The curb stomp in American History X

2. The "Hobbiting" in Misery (OUCH!!!)

3. Jack comes out of nowhere and strikes Dick in the chest with an axe in The Shining.

4. The scene in Passion of The Christ, where the chain with the glass pieces tears off a chunk of Jesus' back.
