Hey all,
Though I'm relatively new to the site, I have put in a fair amount of time posting in the Contests thread. After looking through a good portion of the rest of the forums, I noticed that a lot of threads are region based and we all share a number of similar interests. I thought it could be fun if maybe we could set up a sub-forum for poker home games based on region. This could even be expanded to regional (official or unofficial) video game tournaments, CAGers meet-ups and hang-outs, etc. I've been around plenty of forums, and I never found any that do this well, so I figured why not give it a shot? As long as any winnings are under the thousand mark in most states (I believe; I could be completely wrong, though) it's not illegal to advertise poker home games.
Anyway, I'd love some responses from CAGers and Mods alike. Also, if anyone knows how to put up a poll, please be kind enough to explain that to me. Drat e-machines confuse me.
