My brother bought Need for Speed Underground 2 a few days ago for $38 (normal price was $44.99). Yesterday, I "returned" the game, repurchased it and purchased a complete copy of Suikoden II for $57, netting me a free copy of Disgaea. I essentially got Suikoden II and Disgaea for around $57.

Got FFX-2, Kingdom Hearts, Freedom Fighters - $17.99 each - 1 free.

Actually disappointed with FFX-2, didn't realize it used the old ATB system (which I hated) and I wish Freedom Fighters had a co-op mode. Capture the flag gets dull REALLY quick.

Need to go back and look for FFX, Shinobi, Rygar(maybe), both Maximo's, try to preorder Splinter Cell w/trade in deal. I can't decide whether I should spend my ~$80 credit now on PS2 games or if I should hold out and use it towards a PS3.
 
Picked up Maximo, Twisted metal black, and evergrace. It sucked though - twisted metal's disc has a blockbuster sticker on top of it and evergrace would start up w/intro but freeze after I select a character.

I guess it's good though since I can trade those two games back to EB and I would end up with Maximo for about $2.

the trick to take off those stickers is to peal them off slowly. Make sure when you peal it off that it just leaves the sticky part not the paper. After taking the sticker off, use tape (clear tape) and just stick it down hard over the remaining sticky rezedue (sp) and keep repeating until its all gone.

The eb bastards hid the damn case and instructions from me on the RE2. I did a district search @ another eb and that store had 2 copies. No RE2 on the shelves. At first they said they didn't have it. I asked them to look it up anyway. Bingo, 2 copies... So the guy looks and can't find them, say "sorry we must not have them" The guy who did the search, who wasn't in on the whole "hide RE2 gig" said "oh I think they are in the back" One of the other guys goes to the back and after 10 min comes back with a RE2 disc in a bag.(he didn't think I would shell out for an incomplete copy.) I go pick up the other games to do the B2G1. My girlfriend who they didn't realize was with me overheard them saying (like 4 eb employees, 2 off-duty) "oh I think we hid them up there on top behind the xbox games" and one of the others goes "i thought you already bought them" Anyway I took my RE2/disc only and went on my way (i put it on ebay to pay for my other two games $.99 NR) I then went back in and gave them a Turok, EJay, mojo, and a Mad Maestro for their trouble.

I did this to my MvC2 disc since there was goo on the top side of the disc, it was coming off fine...but all of a sudden it pulled off some of the paint from the disc, boy was I mad...

I've found that even once you get the adhesive residue off the cases themselves are still somewhat beat up. Thus, I make it a point to swap out any fodder game cases I have whenever I trade anything in. Trading in sealed games is just stupid when you could have kept the brand new shiny case for yourself.

Yea the collectors T5 comes with a case to hold all the Tekkens so I needed to get american versions to fill the set. I might try and get the Jap. Collection too(already have the ps2 ones) but I dunno if they will get the collector set.

There has got to be a way that we consumers can get the attention of EB corporate and demand they stop with the excessive labels practice. I'm CAG through and through, but I'd pay Gamestop, GameRush or an independent dealer a few dollars more just to have a cleaner case. I barely have enough time to play games let alone clean cases.

Yes I agree. My games had literally 5 stickers on them. One in the upper right hand corner, the spine, over the barcode, on the bottom, and another sticker that says something like ask how to get another 10% off of our already cheap prices or something like that. Just too many and ones that you don't even need.

Yeah. I finally got sick of it and just went to Walmart and bought a 10 pack of black DVD cases to use. I don't care about what color case my games are in, I just don't want them to stick together because of old sticker crap all over them.
 
Count me in on the sitcker issue. Extremely annoying to remove literally 5 different stickers; that's really the main reason I rarely get used games. I did however pick up Gunvalkyrie, Kessen and Armada (DC) for just under 11 bucks.

In Other news: picked up 48 different 5$ games, which I will proceed to trade in tomorrow as part of the 2/10$ promo. All in all, total down was high- around 250$. BUUUUUT, for those three games,plus the others... I"m going to throw the credit on a card and grab another PSP pre-order across town (since you can only pre-order one per person, supposedly), seems damn well worth it. Call me nuts.

As far as the cases go, just ask them about it. I know from my days there they've got em to use. usually. Might be an old new release display box or something, but hell, one sticker vs ten. And, for what it's worth, Office max- 100 for 25$, usually.

I thought I saw gungrave for $9.99, but now the store has the $12.99 sticker price. Do store prices vary or did they just stick the wrong sticker on it?
 
My mom has this stuff called Skin So Soft that works awesome on the stickiness. Though I do like that one guy's suggestion about buying blank DVD cases.
