Premium more prone to failure than Core?

I just bought my first 360 premium yesterday and guess what happened today... Ring of death. I returrned the system to Circuit city but every place in Arizona seems to be sold out of Premium systems. I think I caught a mention somewhere that premiums seem to be more prone to failures than core packages... I was wondering is there any truth to this?
 
uh.. no. they're the SAME SYSTEM! The only difference is the accessories it comes with. If anything, it's the hard drive failing.
 
Well the only other diffrenece is that the premium has a "chrome" tray and the core doesnt. I just found this out recently.

Maybe the Dry Heat is getting to him:hot: My red DS doesn't play WW: Touched I think it's because it is a newer system... What? You mean my red DS that came with Mario Kart is the same as the Patinum/Silver Launch DS, doh!:rofl:
