Price Drops at GameStop.com!

wow... i've been meaning to get simpsons hit and run for a while, i've been waiting for the price to drop (too bad it's backordered...)
 
awesome.....i've been waiting for transformers and simpsons hit and run to drop........anyone know if these are b&m also?
 
Thanks for posting, I hope the B&M stores are also selling the games at these prices. I really want Transformers and Simpsons H&R.
 
Transformers is now $19.99? ::looks at credit card, BEGGING me to just take the chance and buy it:: I'll pick it up tomorrow before work... damnit... :x

That's a fantastic price for Simpsons Hit and Run - I thought I was getting a great deal buying it a few weeks back at Blockbuster - minty condition with their Buy1 Get 1Free deal. Fun game, especially for Simpsons fans!

already backordered...meh...hope the drop takes effect @ BB soon...
 
I sure am glad I traded my copy of Transformers before the drop, I got if through the used 9.99 deal and got $15 for it but now who nows.(it was worth $20 when i bought it I just held onto it a bit too long)
 
Any know if these are B&M as well?I would love Shadow Ops at that price but I would rather trade some of the CC games I am done with.

thanks for the financial advice noob. my money I spend it my way. did you even think maybe I have more then one credit card which I do.I have 2 cards one emergency's and another with a 200 dollar limit. I use it for buying stuff stuff off of the net and I mainly use for this site. so if I get ripped off the theives only get 200 bucks.

Just as an FYI, your losses from a CC are limited (by federal law) to $50 given that you notify your CC company as soon as you realize it has been stolen. (And to be out $50 your card must have been used by the thief for $50 or more in stuff BEFORE you notify your CC company.)

And I think if your CC # is fraudulently obtained and used you aren't liable for a penny.

Not sure if the same protections apply to Visa Check Cards as they are kind of a super ATM card. But I bet they do.

Kind of OT, but it's good for people to know.

Hope the XBox flavor drops down to $19.99, since the PS/2 version went.

Most places seem to have the GC version at $29.99, and the XBox version at $39.99. :shock: Time for some multi-platform price parity.
 
BB and CC had it marked down to $29.99 for both platforms, and then Target one-ups everyone else and dropped it down to $26.88.

Depends on what happens after this week to see if it's universal or not, since everywhere else had it for $49.99 before this weekend (and gave me $24.57 PM goodness at CC on Sunday).
 
I just called my local Gamestop and they said that Simpsons H&R is indeed $20 for the PS2 version. I'm assuming that the other games are also the same price as the website.

Actually, unless you're highly offended by Hasbro changing the toy designs, then buy the game. It's very good and some of the Armada designs are actually pretty cool. I bought the game for $50 based on my love for the original toy line 20 years ago and had a blast playing it. $20 is a steal. The graphics are outstanding, and the gameplay is definitely solid. The boss battles are a blast.

I doubt Simpsons will go back up, it looks like a price drop, and even if it is just a sale price, I am pretty sure we will be seeing this all over for 20 soon enough.

thanks for the heads up, but what if the thevies know this and go around stealing card and only spending 49.99 on every card the steal :D
 
No need to buy hit and run since I already have the PC version, but Transformers might be a good buy judging from some of the reviews it got.
