'Tis true! Though Trauma Center can be preordered at most online stores for $30 US, a new copy can be yours for $20 at EBGames.com! This is most like a temporary pricing error, so I doubt it will be this cheap for long.

Wow. Awesome find. I preordered it. It looked like it could be interesting, so I'll see how it pans out. Gamestop's got it for $30 so it looks like this is really a deal.
 
Sweet. I got in on this. I'm guessing the price won't stay here, but it couldn't hurt to try and preorder it for this price.
 
I'll be amazed if they honor this, but I had to get in and at least try... I've had my eye on this one for a while and the price won't get any better.

Actually, EBGames is well known for honoring their price mistakes. So you will for sure get the game for $20.
 
Might have to jump on this later. I am considering getting this and a DS for my wife for her b-day. Especially now with the price drop on the DS coming.

Even on pre-orders? I know that's true for in-stock games, but since this is a pre-order I'm thinking we'll just get an email in the next month or so saying something like:

With the GameStop pricing error a few weeks ago we all got 20% off coupons, which is an OK but not great deal since as far as I know it can't be combined with the free shipping coupon. That said, EB Games is a different company and does seem to have a better track record of honoring these types of mistakes...
 
since its a pre-order...i seriously doubt they honor it at 19.99 when it finally ships. good luck to those who are going to try,

I think MSRP is $30 since that's what it's listed as at Gamestop and because all DS games are at least $30 (Ping Pals was $20, but that doesn't count because it's ridiculously stupid.)

When they fucked up on the price of DK: JB with the bongos ($34.99 instead of $54.99), they honored it, though it took a lot of convincing.

They normally do honor their pricing mistakes, unlike GS, as we all know from the whole Colessum crapfest.

And $10 isn't that much of a pricing mistake, anyway. If it was $9.99, I could see them saying no.
 
If they don't honor it, you know Fry's will probably sell it for $24 around its release which is what you'd pay for it on the site anyhow with shipping and all.

I just called local EB store and they have it for $20 too. You can pre-order at local store & pay off at the same time instead $5 down payment "WHY" that only way you can get the game for $20 incase they update the price.

They game may endup RARE in the future cuz ATLUS title... :)

Any pre-orders get relegated to their own order #. So, if you do two pre-orders and two in-stock items on the same shopping trip, you get three order #'s, each with its own shipping charge.

Happened to me twice so far with EB.

well i pre-ordered it online for now, just in case it was an error and gets fixed later on...when i go to eb today, tomorrow or whenever to change my nascar preorder to a zelda preorder, ill see if i can preorder this for $20 there too

Actually if the final price is higher than the preoder amount you still have to paid the difference.

Just came back from an EB Games store, and it was listed at $20. Anytime I put money down on a game that went up in price later, I always got it for the same price it was when I reserved it.

Got my copy reserved at $19.99, thanks OP!
 
I'm also cheezed. I've wanted this game since it was announced as Caduceus. Oh well, at least I'll be giving my gaming preorder dollars to Atlus.

Perhaps anyone who still wants it for $20 should get to a store and put money down on it. I don't think they update their store systems until the end of the day.

They don't.

I just checked my Nintendog's preorder ticket, and it doesn't have a price on it, just a ticket that says I put down 5.00 on it. If I put down 5.00 on this, and the price goes up, I have no proof that it was 19.99 when I preordered it?
