PS Move Nav $15 Amazon
Is this the basic controller that is needed for the move? I don't have the move, so I was curious.
It's the navigation controller; the one you use in addition to the motion controller.
Is this the basic controller that is needed for the move? I don't have the move, so I was curious.
its not actually needed since the DS3 can do the same thing (unless you're using it in a sharp shooter, then its needed), it is in fact more convenient though.

What you number??
So does it benefit to have 2 of these or is one enough?
Multiplayer.

You can use a Dual Shock as well so this isn't really necessary, but it is easier to hold then a Dual Shock.

I'm a Move newb. These nav controllers don't seem to come with most of the bundles right?

I was looking at the desmonds/sports champion move bundle on amazon for $70 and the nav controller doesn't seem to be in that box.

the sports champ bundle doesn't have the nav. The LBP SE bundle does, as well the sharpshooter bundles. The nav is needed for games with sharpshooter, useless for rail shooters, and optional for other sports titles such grand slam tennis or LBP.

$15 without tax is worth it if you plan on playing the move. Me and the Mrs. use it mostly for grand slam tennis.

Hmmm..I just got Sorcery from the Gamestop deal, but I played for an hour or so last night using the DualShock, and had no issues. Not sure if I want to get this or not - a decent price, though.

If you're good with the regular controller just stick with it. No point playing in 15 bucks for something you almost never use. Not crapping on the Move. I have one and really enjoyed games like Sports Champions and The Fight but there are almost no games for the damn thing.

So who's better in virtual tennis?

Like others have mentioned, you can hold a Dualshock in one hand and the Move controller in the other instead of using the Nav. But that looks hella uncomfortable. LOL

I picked up my first Move, Nav, and Sharpshooter a while back during a super cheap sale. I'd never tried motion controls before (no Wii or 360). On a game like Killzone 3, that setup is sick. So much cooler than using the DS. So yeah, not a lot of games use it, but the Move is way more accurate than the Wii or Kinect (I've tried both now), and being able to move in 3 dimensions (unlike the Wii) is extraordinary. Meleeing somebody in KZ3 by jabbing your gun at them never gets old. LOL

Since I believe the best use of the Nav is with a full Sharpshooter setup, I'll also mention that the Move locks into the Sharpshooter via its USB port. Unlike guns for other systems, where pressing the trigger causes a physical linkage to shift and poke the controller, the Sharpshooter inputs are instantaneous and 100% accurate. Makes all the difference in the world. The Nav doesn't hook up the same way, but it doesn't matter because you keep your hand on it the whole time and press the buttons directly (nothing is covered up by the gun shell).

honkyjesus- hit the nail on the head. Never thought of getting one but with that price worth a try.
Thanks!
