PS2 $100 trade in Gamestop deal

I mentioned this during their web advertised trade special, back before they fixed it to read that you had to have all the 'extras'.
Personally, that's what makes this 'deal' ridiculous, imo.
Extra controller(if it works) is $25-30
memory card is $25
I went by the new prices there, assuming you might not have all the extras. Either way, it's a total rip off, unless the signage doesn't say that the systems n 'extras' have to actually WORK. In which case, I would then drag the sign over to the counter and point out that omission and also point out if there were NO limit on PS2s traded in how I could trade 5 and get a PS3 'free'.

So unless you're expecting them to be selling things at a loss, I don't know how much better the deal could be.

They take in a controller at what? $3-5? Then charge $20 and most times don't even properly test the damned things. Same with the memory cards in many cases.
I was SO tempted when they listed the 'trade a PS2, get $100 towards a PS3' online to print up the thing and say there's no place it says the systems HAVE to work or come with everything either and try and take 5 of them into GS for a 'free' PS3.
I'm sure they covered their ass legally SOMEPLACE in either micro print or SOMETHING, but it didn't look like it from what I saw.
Either way, this is a horrid 'deal', imo still.
