PS2 for cheap?

Anyways........anyone think a price-drop on the PSTwo (new model) is coming anytime soon? Maybe around E3 or something? I'm considering getting one to take to Japan with me this summer, but $150 is kinda steep for a console I already have (and I would trade in my old one but I actually use the hard drive to back up my old game saves so I kinda need it...).

its possible. since ps3 wont be coming out for a year, and xbox360 will come out in 6 months or so, sony might drop the price to 130 or 100 to get some sales for non-ps2 owning customers. wait until e3 though. also, you can buy used ones for 120 or 130 (i think)
 
Don't any of your local Gamestops, EB's, or used CD stores carry it for like $125 or so? Break out the Yellow Pages and give each one a call. I dunno... hope that helps. :)
