Well, I always too cheap to get the PS2 network adapter... but now that I have a PS3, I want to pick up some of the online enabled PS2 games.

I found the list of online enabled games at the Sony site, which was helpful, but unfotunately it lists any game ever made that had online - not what still WORKS online. I don't know how often they take game servers offline...

So, answer whatever the better question is - what games are still online, or what games are no longer online?

i think all the socoms r still online
i recctenly found out resident evil outbreak: file 1 is still online
but resident evil:eek:ut break file 2 is not

Killzone is still online.

Syphon Filter is but no one plays that anymore...but if anyone DOES want to play it PM me. That game is lots of fun...

Besides that, I'm pretty sure that most games are still online...at least ones that people still play. Metal Gear is offline though sadly.

What?!? Didn't MGS 3 just come out a year ago?

Konami said they were using it as a "test" or something and shut down the servers.

Thanks, guys :D Battlefront is good news

Does anyone know about Trivial Pursuit, Family Feud... stuff like that? I'm a sucker for trivia type stuff...

I'm also wondering about Gauntlet, and any of the online Final Fantasy games...

They did the same thing in JPN. People were saying Konami usually shuts down their servers about a year after release. Konami never really explained why they did, but it could've been for the lack of players, the release of MPO, or the fact that Subsistence was primarily an experiment. Regardless, it was a shame they had to shut it down-great online game.

I'll throw one out of left field. Earlier this year, which I assume is still the case, Project: Snowblind was still online. There were less than a dozen people playing :)
