"PS3 250GB Amazon Exclusive Family Entertainment Bundle" $249 w/ FS

It's been sitting at that price since they had the Gold Box for video games about 2 weeks back. I've had my eye on it that long..

I grabbed the 250GB Black Friday bundle that came with inFamous Collection and Uncharted 1 & 2 for $200 on BF. I just ran by this on Amazon and figured I'd share. But if I hadn't bought a super slim model by now, I would buy this.
 
It looks like they dropped the 20 dollar AIV credit to justify the price drop, which is pretty silly of them to do with their exclusive bundle. It was a good way to get people to give your service a chance.
 
I got this bundle for the 249.99 a couple of weeks ago. I didn't even know I was getting the AIV credit until I got the email yesterday with the code.
 
I've been contemplating this for a while, it really is a good value. But with the size of some required game downloads nowadays and my PSN library, I'm not sure 250 Gigs would cut it. I'm after either the 320GB old slim model or a 500GB. If Newegg does $240 on the AC3 bundle, I'm getting that matched at BB right away. If not, i may just bite the bullet and pay 300 for the 320GB Uncharted 3 bundle. Those models are out of production and are easily the best.
 
The real question is... Does PSASBR come with the vita version in this bundle? Then this would make the deal that much sweeter. I do need a second ps3...

It should, since all new copies are cross-buy (just go to disc benefits on your PS3 to activate).
 
All the PS3s look overpriced to me now. Now that I know the PS4 is coming I want to know the pricing of the Sony and Microsoft next gen before buying any more this gen hardware.

Amazon was selling PS3s for $200 (well $300 w/ $100 credit) over two years ago on Black Friday 2010. Doesn't look like PS3 will ever hit the golden $99 price at this rate.

I agree with you on that one. I think Sony will just stop making them before the price drops that low.
 
I don't think PS3 will never drop below the price of a 3D blu-ray player + harddrive and will cost at least 50 more than that until PS3 games go out of style.
 
I needed to replace my fat, so I ended up getting a used slim through CowBoom. I kinda wish I had just shelled out the extra dough for this, though. Ah, well, 20/20 hindsight and all. I'm sure I won't care once my slim (finally) comes today.
