Who ever did these commercials are amazing. Sony most have payed out the Ass. But it shows how unsure they really are. It’s not what is said, but what its not said. I also didn’t hear the word fun once in any commercials. Has sony given up on fun?
What I think is deceptive is these commercials, not the raindrop (although i agree this world is so much more complex then what people perceive it to be). This freedom for the developers but at what point is making a game were every raid drop is uneq out of bounds for the game makers themselves, rather then the hardware it will be showcased on. Its still the developers blood, and the ps3 doesn’t make it any easier to make a world were every snowflake is uneq, They just have that option, and most likely will still take the shortcut to save tome and money. Also deceptive about blue ray storage, other then the flower math, I hear one disc will have all the versions of the game compiled onto one disc, so is it really more space, or just cheaper for sonny to ship one disc to all countries? Will these blue ray games use 7zip, were the data that is similar is overplayed, while the differences are compressed. with 7zip, one can get 1000 images all almost alike but one pixle and the size will only increase based off the difference of the pixel rather then how much data is really compressed. If ps3 will use 7zip technologies i agree that games can be alot larger, and they will need to be for 1080p, but if it doesn’t, isn’t the blue ray storage being eaten alive by every version of the game beaing on that one disc?
