IS there a differences between 40gb and 60gb?
other then backwards comp., more usb slots, memory slots.
Rumors:
is it true that the 40gb runs silently while the 60gb tends to make some noise?
or does blue-ray plays better on the 40gb?
or 60gb produces better gaming graphics..?
well there are way more rumors than this, but these are the most discussed and said.

Somebody........what is true????

Yes. The 40 GB has a slightly better heatsink and runs cooler while using slightly less electricity. This does not affect video playback or gaming at all. The 40 GB doesn't support SACD.

They have the same noise level.

No difference in blu-ray playback.

The graphics are identical between the two systems.

The 40 gig doesn't support SACD? That's an odd omission. This is the first I'd heard about it (not that I'd ever buy an SACD, but still....)

Also, I may be recalling incorrectly, but my 60 gig (sold in August) was louder than the 40 gig I've got currently. This on is completely silent, even when folding for hours on end.
