Ps3 Dolby Pro Logic 2

Hello I have a Ilive 2.1 Home Theater That decodes Dolby Digital HD and puts a Dolby Digital Pro Logic 2 Icon up when playing DVD straight from the player but when I connect for example the PS3 To the home theater using RCA it does not show the icon meaning its not receiving Dolby digital. Is there anyway to fix this?

Check to see if your system is set to bitstream or linear PCM, although I don't know if that would matter over RCA...
