PS3 ever available on Amazon?

I scored a bunch of Amazon gift certificates recently, but haven't seen the PS3 (20g or 60g) offered by Amazon for the past week or so (third party sellers w/ inflated prices are of course still there). Does anyone know if Amazon is just sold out, or if they're not stocking the PS3 anymore or what?

I know they were selling them. Not sure why they wouldn't have them now.

Slim, since honestly I don't think Sony is making them anymore.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I was checking several places for 20gb ones, and now bestbuy has them on their website again, even with a "new" item label. So hopefully Sony is still making them, since I'm not going to pay the $600 for it when MGS4 comes out.
