PS3 power on question

Hi, I'm thinking about picking up what looks like a good deal on a PS3 on c-list. Problem is, the person says that there is an issue with the power button or turning on the system. I'm not experienced with the red-light issue or anything. Any input on if this looks like something that isn't worth the hassle. "The power button has done it since I got it It never was really a issue to me u tap it once it makes a beep and blinks red then right away u tap it again and it turns on and works fine I use it everyday with no other problems " I would appreciate the help since I would probably have to decide sooner rather than later.

I honestly don't know. I forot there was a change. It is a 80 gig model he said.

Okay - looks like a pass then. I honestly don't know much about ps3 issues. Know all about the red ring on the Xbox. I was hoping maybe it was something easy to do with the power cord or something along those lines.

I appreciate the help - I've now googled yellow light of death and it seems it can survive a while before dying. I can see why it looked like a pretty good dead - trying to unload it before it is dead. I doubt his claim that it has always done that then. Good thing I always bring my questions to the CAGs.
