I had to reformat my ps3 and lost all my setting for my ps3 for my tv. I have an older sharp it is a 720p/1080i. A buddy of mine set it up for and i would ask him but he is in the middle of getting ready for finals, so any help from you guys would be great!

When you set up the display settings just use automatic and it will set itself up just fine.

I'm guessing he's talking about all the corrective stuff, like white levels and color corrections.
The only thing I change is to enable up-scaling for DVDs, I leave all the other stuff on auto or off. I have a Sharp TV that's about 6 years old and never had issues... getting your TV settings is more important.
