PS3 Trade-In Value?

Well I bought into the Halo 3 hype...and am wanting to purchase a Halo 3-edition 360....which is $400, so if I could trade my PS3 in for that...and manage to break even (pay $50 difference at most); I would be happy.l

You'll be sorry you traded in your PS3 in 2 or 3 months, and definitely by this time next year, you'll feel like a complete ass.

Trade it, you'll never regret it. What does the PS3 have besides God of War? Or did they lose that too? Anything else, either the 360 has or better. Once you buy Halo 3 you'll have a game that will never end. Killzone 2? LOL Yeah right, they almost had me too, but it's garbage compared to Halo 3.

I would call a Non-HD Res game being advertised as a HD game, being a system seller as Garbage. But maybe thats me. 640p Halo 2.5 isnt exactly what i would consider top grade gaming, especially with all the teeny boppers cussing at the top of their lungs online.

Oh for the love of.....have you played Killzone 2? No? Then you have no clue if it's "garbage" or not. And are you honestly writing off Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank: ToD, Final Fantasy XIII, etc., etc.? The PS3 is worth owning. So is the 360. Hell, so is the Wii, and I didn't think I'd ever say that.
 
I'm sick of these kinds of threads. If anyone says Xbox 360 and PS3 in a single breath, the whole thread turns into a flame war. In the last couple days I've used all three of my systems pretty evenly and they're all pretty damn fun. I'm continually amazed how worked up everyone gets when somebody else is thinking of switching it up. That's their choice and they'll either regret it or they won't. So what? 5 years down the line they'll all be garage sale fodder anyway.
