I was just in my local BestBuy (Oxford, AL)... and they had em on the floor. So call your store if you are hunting this system and if they have em head down there. No wacky bundles either. I saw more than a few people walk out with just the system including a local Cop (who was full dress uniform and in his cop car which of course parked right outside the doors of the store :lol: ).

No, I didn't buy one.
 
Every day its "YMMV" for Wiis and PS3s; there must be tons of threads regarding a YMMV find.

The title of your thread should just specify which store you saw it at if you want to be less vague and more helpful.

*SIGH* I guess I'll give it a try again. Mine has shown stock for three days now, but when I was there on Monday they claimed they didn't have any.
 
Best Buy has NOT recieved another shipment yet, so the only way you will get one is if it's a returned product. Don't waste your time. The availability checker thing on the Best Buy site is NOT accurate.

Um there were 10 of em at my local store. They weren't all returns, the peeps there said they came in today's shipment.

I guess I shouldn't have bothered to start a thread about this, but I was just trying to be helpful. :whistle2:#

Given the hefty price tag to begin with, people waking up to the 360 being just as good in the short-term, the Wii being the (as I predicted) 'It' item for hipsters everywhere*, and eBay auctions thankfully and significantly underperforming, I expect to hear about walk-in-off-the-street PS3 purchases a lot sooner and a lot more frequently than I would have two weeks ago.

Whew!

*--Let's see how 'cool' they find it when the public zeitgeist inevitably turns away from it on December 26th or the minute they become easily available at retail, whichever comes later.

Your might not have, but quite a few got them this past Sunday.
