The headphone jack is a screen door on the submarine of life. It's finally been removed and now the phone can dive, dive, dive into the water.*

* = It can't really, wouldn't do it, and it's not guaranteed it'll survive the water.

Should be the CUH-12xx version of the PS4, plastic backing on the HDMI port, so pins won't push in anymore. It was an iterative update to the launch PS4, so clicky buttons, wifi module is most likely unchanged.

The slim has the new 5ghz wifi chip and I'd assume the newer HDMI port. I really like the original PS4 with the capacitive buttons, I get the feeling they will be desireable again in a year when they are sold out. People love the fat PS3 & PS2, maybe the Pro will be more loved though, humans are unpredictable creatures.
 
I wonder if the pro will come bundled with any games. I hope to at least see a deal of some sort before the end of the year so I can play my library of exclusives that has been sitting around.

Oh, huh. Yeah mine is a day 1 launch ps4 so I'm super scared.

But whatever. I might get a slim anyway just to have a second upstairs. Or a pro. I'm not in a rush and time will tell which gets better sales.
 
Digitalfoundry confirms that this slim model is better in almost every way. Quieter and a lot cooler in terms of temperature.

Don't think of this model as a cheap PS3 super slim guys. The hdmi port is indeed 1.4.

I thought the Slim was supposed to be $400 MSRP? These are bundled with games and are $300?

Edit: I see this is only 500gb. So, they're charging $100 more for an extra 500gb?
