Does anyone know where I can find a decent deal on either a new or used PSP system. My 1000 model finally bit the dust, and I wanted to get something with a better screen and slimmer size.

I was looking at the 3000 since it's the latest model, but I hear the screen has scanlines. Is it really that big of a difference?

I'm also looking into the 2000 series just for the slimmer size and cached memory.

Also, does anyone know is the "blur" is gone from the 1000 model?

won a red Kratos 2001 model on ebay for $81. came with 2 games and 3 movies, all near mint.

my 3000 works fine and i dont ever really see any lines. but as for buying one, i would check craigslist. i always see them up there for $100 or less.
 
I have a 3k myself and absolutely love it. The scanlines that people talk about are only noticeable if you hold the screen like an inch from your face. Looks great otherwise.

How much did you end up paying, if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to gauge a used psp baseline.

I'm paying him $55 tomorrow for a psp1000 with the regular power cord, car power adapter, and some random cheap game. He also says it's in almost brand new.
