I just picked up a used God of War Edition PSP 2001 series. I was able to reset all of the previous settings so far except for one. In the parental control menu on the XMB I cannot reset the password. If I knew the previous owners I could reset it with the reset password option that is in the parental control menu, but I dont see an option to completely format the internal memory of the PSP so I can reset the Parental control password. It looks like the PSP is set to allow all content, so I can access everything I would want online and whatnot. It just annoys me that I don't know the password for the Parental Control settings on the PSP I own. Has anyone had to deal with this. Do I call Sony and give them the serial number and they can look up the password or do I download an update to format the internal settings on the PSP or what? If no one knows what to do and could at least point me in the right direction that would be great.
