I pre-ordered the FFVII psp slim my question is since this is a Japanese system are there any restrictions I know I can't play US UMD on the psp only Japanese, but that's fine since i'm only getting it to play games pretty much any other restrictions besides that also would dead pixels be a problem?(I guess it wouldn't be a problem since this is a limited item and there's no way the store would exchange it just curious.)

I've the memory for the psp on gamestops site one is 1.0gb is 39.99 while the 2.0gb is 59.99 and the 4.0gb is expensive are those good prices or should I wait and look around for ones that are a bit cheaper also which would be the best ones to get? I'll most likely use the psp for games and maybe sometimes music so would a 2.0gb be fine?

Any good advice on screen protecters I know there's Hori and sony which would be better and are they like the DS where it's kinda hard to get it on and of coarse the instructions will be in Japanese so how hard applying this?

I plan to use this system at home since it's a limited edition, but I might buy a cheap used psp if I want to use one on the go.

Thanks for the help.

If you're just using it at home, I wouldn't worry about a screen protector unless you have kids or little siblings or something along those lines.

Your only real restriction will be the UMD issue which, for you and most others, isn't really an issue at all.

As far as the memory card issue, I'm not real sure. When I had my PSP, I just used it for games and thus, the 32 meg stick it came with worked fine.
Thanks alot for the info i'll probably buy a screen protector anyways just to be on the safe side.

Also on playasia.com they have some cables to connect the psp to the TV my question is is there a difference from a PSP Component AV Cable and a PSP AV cable?

PSP Component AV Cable

Even though they posted the wrong picture (theres already another sku for the S-video version). The component will display up to 1080p, the AV will only display 480i.

Plus, the regular AV cable apparently doesn't allow gameplay, just music/movie playback. It's a blunder of large proportions. Things could change or turn out different but right now, that's how it is.

I really hope the S-Video cable (didn't know there was going to be one) supports games. I have an empty S-Video spot on my TV that it could have.
How much will it cost, FF7: CC bundle?
It cost me 409.98 and the price is 399.99 on yesasia.

NCSX is selling for $409 you'll have to pay a $50 deposit.

Playasia was selling it for $299 at first, but once their pre-order stock went out they opened up for pre-order for a second time at $399 and now the pre-orders there are filled up they might get more on release day it says on the page, but I don't know how much they'd have.

Ebay has this listed for $399 to $400 last I check i'm guessing it'll go higher once it's released.

It's too bad that the AV Cable won't display gameplay I guess i'll wait hopefully this is fixed.

Thanks for the help i'll probably get a hori psp screen protector.

I would be all over it for $299. $399 is too much. I'm going to asia soon, I'll just find one at a small shop there.
