If you use one of the current "Trade in 5 get _____ free" deals do you get just $10 for each game?

If one of the games is worth more than $10 in trade do you get the difference?

$10 towards the purchase of the specific game you're trading in for, if the game applies. If one of the games is worth more than $10, it just goes for normal value.. example, if you trade in something like.. Halo 2, and they gave you $20 credit, it'd be $20, not $30.. you wouldn't get the extra $10 since it'd already be over $10 but it'd still apply for the deal, if that makes sense.

Okl let me give another example....I take in 5 games for the deal.4 of them are worth $6 each and one is worth $25.

The first four are bumped up to $10...is the last one devalued to $10 or do they just subtract the $10 and give me a $15 EB credit?

You need to trade in 5 games from my understanding, and the ones that aren't on their huge exclusion list are usually worth more than $10, so it's a dumb deal. Like the other poster said, if you trade in Halo 2 for $30, they'll still ask for four more games. Once you trade in the five games, they'll give you the remaining credit for Halo 2 and the others.

10/10/10/10/25.. I think, at least that's how it used to be.. you'd have credit left over or something... but knowing them these days, they probably chop up that 25 and spread it around all five until they all reach 10 each or something.
