Question about Preordering from Ebgames online?

My friend has a preorder at the actually ebgames store already, unkucky #12. He thinks he won't get one now b/c of the Japan 20% decrease.

I told him he can still preorder a bundle from the gamestop websites also, because although they are same company they are different entities. And the websites sales them in bundles. I told him he could, but he don't believe me. He thinks his preorders will be canceled.

Can anyone confirm how online preorders work as compared to B&M preorders and if they cancel you preorder if you can preorder at an actual store and online? I told him to try a preorder online or camp at BB to make sure he gets one.

There have been some other threads about this-and the bottom line is no one knows.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it much. At #12, even if he doesn't get one at launch, he'd get one from another shipment I'm sure. That's as close to a sure thing as you can get.

The bundles will probably be REALLY expensive. The 360 bundles went from I think $800ish to $1500 at Gamestop, and Playstation 3 demand will probably be higher.
