Question about PS3 Online Pre-orders

Since I wasn't able to get a pre-order at gamestop/eb (damn tests), and I imagine the lines at Wal-Mart/BB are going to be ridiculous. My only option left is to order one online when it becomes available. My question is when will I receive the PS3 if I do that? When did people receive their Xbox 360's that they pre-ordered from Amazon/BB/Gamestop?

Don't take this as the straight truth, but a manager told me they will do online pre-orders for bundles only.

if it's anything like the 360, those will range from a system plus a couple games and accessories to absolutely ridiculous bundles with HD TVs and all the launch titles.

Offical statements made by corporate support this. Budles ONLY online from GS/EB.
