Question about the $20 MIR for NFL Street 2

When they said cut out the UPC code from the original packaging, can I photocopy the UPC code and send it in? I don't like the idea of cutting a part out of my original cover. So will that work? If that doesn't work, can I cut out the UPC code on the back of the manual? Thanks!
 
It's EA, they'll probably want the original. You may get lucky though and they might accept a photocopy, but they managed to come up with a reason to deny my B2G1F MIR last winter. You can try a photocopy though.

BTW, you can always just edit the original post and thus its topic title.
 
well if they want the original can I give them the UPC code on the back of the manual? i would really, really hate having a part of the cover gone =\

See, that's the thing I don't understand is that they still print that UPC in the manual yet they want the one from the cover. What's the point? If you've got a receipt and the UPC that should be good enough.

Maybe someone who actually lucked out on the past EA MIR could answer?
