Question regarding Gamestop's ship to store

I don't know if this is in the right section or not. But I'm considering buying Madden 11 from Gamestop because I have an online credit to use. How long does it generally take for a game to get to the store for pickup when you choose ship to store? I'm impatient and want to get it the quickest way possible.

I'm pretty certain you pick it up the day it releases, just like if you had reserved it at the store.

[quote name='thelonepig']Using the ship-to-store method will not allow you to take advantage of any online-only coupons as you will actually make the payment in store. Giftcards and Edge balances are open game, but none of those $10 or $20 coupons that were handed out a few months ago like candy.

What about preorder items?

Promotional Bonus Items
Some pre-ordered products are bundled with promotional bonus items, such as T-shirts or key chains. Quantities of promotional items are limited; so you should check with your local store for availability. For high-value bonus items available before the release of a product, like a free game with a pre-order, you may be required to place an additional deposit at your local store

That sucks. I too thought I could pay online and do in-store pickup after having used one of those $10 off codes. But it is a nice addition to Gamestop's checkout process to allow such a function, though I don't think other stores like Best Buy and WalMart make you pay when you pick up, as you would only show a printed receipt from the website or something similar.
