Quick Question about Laptop speaker and connecting speakers...

CAGiversary!
Probably a dumb question, but I know that if you connect external speakers to a laptop, it disables the laptop's built in speakers, but is there anyway to still have this internal speaker enabled?

Assuming you have Windows, I'm pretty sure you can go to Control Panel -> Sound and then under 'Output Devices', just set the speakers and the headphones to enabled.

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. I went under Sounds, but I don't see anything for output devices or anything that will allow me to enable both.

Not possible to do. Once you plug your headphones into your laptop it automatically disconnects the internal speakers.

Oh o.k. That's good to know. Was just curious.
