I have paypal and i am only 16 So when i have money in paypal i have to use it from paypal.

So.. I know that you can get a virtual credit card number through paypal to order stuff from any store now. What i was wondering is can i use that feature and use bestbuys in-store pickup option? I want to buy a ps3 and go pick it up. The only thing i see that would be a problem is it says to bring the credit card you used to the store. I wont have one, as its an online credit card made by paypal.

Anyone help me on this?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

i actually did i got annoyed with the guy i got on the phone because he had no idea that paypal could generate you a virtual credit card number to use :(

Well, you can get annoyed with them and get your answer, or you can get all kinds of answers from people who really have no idea what they're talking about. Choose wisely. ;)
true, i was just wondering if anyone else has done this you know
Just a note, did you call a store, or did you try their online customer service? I would imagine someone in store wouldn't have any idea about it because they don't deal with that. Someone at an online customer service could probably answer the question, assuming they speak good english.

No, you can't use virtual credit cards for this. You MUST have the physical credit card. The ONLY exception is if you recently applied for a BestBuy credit card and have yet to receive it, they can lookup the card since it is their own in their system.

They won't work at CircuitCity either.

The only place you can use them is for Site-To-Store pick up at Wal-Mart because they only require you to bring a printed copy of the email as well as a government issued ID.

dang, ok. One question. Why does it take 7-10 days for site to store, if they ahve the item i ordered in stock? at walmart that is.

Because they're shipping the item to the store, regardless if they have it in stock at Wal-Mart.

The WalMart store and WalMart.com site are considered to be two different entities, thus the reason why WalMart stores won't price match their own website..

So when you order from their web site, you are getting it at a cheaper price, so they don't take away from the store's stock

Stupid yes, but that's the way it is
