Quick Question

CAGiversary!
Not sure of where to post this so I hope this is in the right section....but...I wanted to know. Ya see, I'm not a big PC gamer myself, more of a 360 guy. However a few things are pulling me to get Fallout 3 for my PC. Now, I see somewhere you can sign into your Gamertag and play on the PC and still get achievements? Is that true? and how exactly does it work? I'm kind of an achievement whore so I'm curious lol. Also, say if I were to use cheats, were that to disable achv's much like most cheats for 360 games do? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes. Gears of War has two different sets of achievements those on PC and those on the console. People who have Halo 2 on PC also get achievements.

*shrug* I have a friend who plays Fallout 3 on the computer and when he plays he gets logged on to Xbox live. When I look at his gamertag while he plays there is actually a little PC icon.

yeah but when you go to compare games, it'll show that you played it on PC. For example, if you played it on PC and I chose your gamertag and hit compare games, it'd show "--" under achievements for all of the achievements because it's comparing X360 to X360. You'd see vice versa if you did the same with me.

But I think the score does contribute to your overall gamerscore.
