RDR $29.99 on Amazon [PS3/360]

Great price...I still haven't tried it...But it's winning GOTY left and right so I'll wait for the inevitable GOTY edition wth all the content...Great deal non-the-less
Ok gotta ask. PS3 or 360 which console should I get it for?
360 version has a bit more grass and thicker foliage as well as better AA and a slightly higher resolution. However both look and run great. I didn't have any problems with the PS3 version myself, but I'm using this as a chance to get the 360 one since I have the Undead Nightmare DLC for it.

You could go ahead and get the original + RDR: Undead Nightmare disc for $60, which would be the price of the GOTY. The expansion disc has all of the content. There is really no need to wait for a GOTY version.

If you are going to play online, I would go with Xbox Live over PSN.

There was more dlc than just Undead Nightmare (although UN was clearly the best). Besides, msrp will undoubtedly be $60, but Amazon often has $60 games for $55. The lesson? If you've waited this long, you can wait for the GOTY edition, which this price drop is surely the prelude to. Personally, I can't wait; I've been waiting to play this game since it came out.

Yes, you are right that there is more DLC than Undead Nightmare, but all of that DLC is included on the disc (Liars & Cheats, Legends & Killers). The other two packs (Outlaws, Hunting and Trading) are free to download. That's the reason the retail disc is more expensive than the DLC option. In all, you could go ahead and get the two discs without having to wait for something that has not even been announced yet.

If you wanna play a zombie game, play Dead Rising 2. The whole UN thing seemed a bit too much like a cheap/quick cash grab from Rockstar to me. Same thing with putting out the two other DLC packs, which could've made the base game much more fun when playing online. The game world is largely dead when playing multiplayer like free roam versus the game world in single player.

Huh, didn't know that the other dlc was included on the undead nightmare disc. Oh well, I thin I'm still gonna wait. I'd rather have one disc as opposed to two and I have other games to play right now.

Except the complete edition of GTA 4 was $40 & I doubt R* would change that for RDR

Yes, $20 makes a world of difference to me

The GOTY version is already confirmed anyways. Look on Amazon, while they don't have the game listed they have a hardcover Limited Edition guide listed for a RDR GOTY Edition pegged for an April 14, 2011 release. If you haven't played the game yet like me, I'd just wait for 2 more months to get the game + all DLC for cheaper, probably $40 or $50.
