re(collection) for an xbox, good deal or not?

i have the gc re collection minus re2(resident evil in case you didnt know) and skies of arcadia. the xbox comes with 3 controllers, 3 games, upgraded ram, and a mod chip with a dip switch. he also sends first.

I would say no...mainly because a mod chip s you if you want to be on Live.

but i dont plan on playing live. he says the (on of a kind) dip switch fixes the onlive thing, but i dont plan on using it.

And I'll risk saying it here, what the hell. The system is modded. It comes with a Chamelion Modchip. All needed software loaded. It also has a one of a kind, custom dip switch on it, so you could still play orginal games on xbox live.

My only concern would be buying a modded Xbox from somebody who may or may not have done all the modifications properly. It would suck seriously to get it only to have it fried a month down the road b/c he didn't do something right. Just an opinion- for all I know the guy's a certified M$ employee.

I would say no its not a good deal.
For one thing I would doubt you are getting any guarentee
that the xbox will work (maybe a non DOA but nothing past that).
Plus whats the point of a modded xbox without an upgraded
harddrive? I would pass on this deal.

Please do keep in mind that an RE collection will drop in value in a couple of months after the hype from RE4 has worn off. I"d take the trade but if the system seems messed up or faulty in any way simply send it back, the shipping won't cost you that much.

I would say no, because it's modded. You didn't sit there and watch him mod it, so you don't know what he could have screwed up.
