I doubt it. The memory cards were a big mistake in my opinion, but Sony loves the proprietary stuff. I expect we'll see higher capacities sooner rather than later and a drop in price on current cards.
 
Yes, eventually. Sony hasn't licensed out the tech because they want to make as much money as possible. After a year or so, you'll start to see sandisk, and other big name memory brands.
 
Nice, seems the ideas of them licensing out the tech is split. I hope they do, paying that much for that little bit of memory is insane.

Exactly. They are hugely expensive now but these things get pretty cheap after some time. Maybe during the holidays?
 
I just posted a GS deal $15 4GB or $50 16GB(refurb) but really the best thing to do is find some good flips to make the 32GB close to $50 & get it that way.
