Recommend me a gaming monitor for $300 or less

I've been looking to buy a monitor for my PS3 and Xbox 360, though my education in the field is severely limited. I've been told of these two, but I want to get more opinions before I make a purchase.

Which one of these are the way to go? Is there anything better I can get with my price range?

IPS panels are more expensive because they have better colour reproduction. You probably won't be able to notice any difference because the images are moving. They are more for graphic design types who are looking at a static image and need extreme colour accuracy. But at that price it seems like a good deal. I haven't really seen one that cheap but I haven't done much research on low end monitors in a couple years. Asus makes good stuff. You probably won't be going wrong either way.
