Make a request for in store pick up. When you get to the hold screen, you should see a penny price

You speak truth. I went as far as the screen where I can pick a store and it was still full price. Once I picked a store and got the form to fill in my info it said a penny at the top. Thanks

What the hell, put in a hold request for Xenoblade Chronicles X at the local Gamestop.  It worked last time so it doesn't hurt to try again.

Yeah, this will likely be Dark Souls 3's guide situation all over again (awesome FuturePress guide(s) before, sucky Prima guide now).

Thank you Darby, I was able to grab a Xenoblade guide. The associate was flabbergasted that I was able to put a hold in. He did give me the guide anyways but told me in the future that the .01 guides are not supposed to be sold.

I was surprised the drops were today. I usually expect them during the last week of the month. Thank you for your vigilance.

 
Thought I was in the clear. I had a trade in to do so I picked up my Xenoblade guide that was on hold. The employee scanned it at the end then the manager came over and literally just adjusted the price to $34.99 without even asking me. I was like "Ummmm it rang up a penny." She said they can't sell it that cheap and asked me if I still wanted it. Felt slimy....
 
Picked up SFV and FC Primal CE guides today. Only one I didn't get was Xenogears. A store about 20mi away had one, didn't want to make the roundtrip for the chance to get it.

 
I got a battlefront and 2 FC Primals. although at the 2nd store the cashier called her manager to see if I could have the FC Primal.  He told her I could have it.

If anyone has an extra Xenoblade guide I have the following guides to trade for it: 

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (Softcover, not sealed, damaged cover, ask for pictures if interested)

Yeah, I put in several requests and all got rejected. Even the store that usually marks them as ready for pickup and just gives them to me.

 
Struck out on Zelda and Uncharted at the 2 local stores. The new DM has cracked down so they wouldn't let me buy the ones I found on the shelves.

Thanks Darby and Vigilante. I was able to find a store that was willing to sell me a sealed UC4 CE. The cashier was hesitant to sell it to me, but since I had in store pick up and it said ready for pick up, I was able to get it.

Placed a hold pickup for UC4 and got a ready for pickup email. Went in, looked around, asked for my pickup, Manager was like "shoot....oh well here ya go"

Did it scan at 0.01 still or is the price locked in? I just got my notice but my backup is 9 miles away so I'm not sure if I want to go.

Lol, Hyrule Warriors Legends guide rung up as a penny. Employee adjusted it to $34.99. Dafuq?

Once or twice a year they'll linger an extra day on the website. The last drop before this one was like that.

I got "item not found" for the pickup I tried this morning. Ended up getting a Xenoblades hardcover tonight though when I was out boomeranging.
