refurb digital cameras and extended warranties

hey all. i was looking into buying a refurb digital cam from tigerdirect for $155 shipped. i was wondering if the extra $20 for 1 year extended warranty is worth it? and for future reference, should i ever buy extended warranties?? thanks

warranties all depend on what they cover, there are certain things you should by warrenties such as televisions, and other high dollar electronics. it is also important to know when the warranty takes affect. It is usally after the shortest part of the manufacturing warranty which is usually 90 days on either parts or labor. also they type of warranty they are offfering. Is it a replacement warranty or a repair warranty?
