WASHINGTON: A Republican congressman said in a radio interview aired by a Florida station that if a multiple-city attack happened in the United States in the next 90 days, as predicted by an Israeli expert, and was found to be the work of extremist Muslims, then “we should take out their holy sites.” Congressman Thomas G Tancredo, Republican from Colorado, was being interviewed by AM 540 WFLA radio host Pat Campbell, who asked him what the response of the United States should be were terrorist attacks on US cities to take place and were attributable to extremist Muslims. The Congressman replied, “ ... then we could take out their holy sites.” Asked if that meant Mecca, Tancredo answered, “Yes.”

Finally someone says what I've been thinking. I love this guy. I'd start destroying holy sites immediately if we were nuked. I'd so enrage these animals that they'd no longer be able to exercise any self control hiding, planning and executing attacks. They'd take to the streets immediately and you'd be able to gun them down like a bunch of rock throwing Palestinian teenagers.
 
Yes, because using this rhetoric (petty vengeance with the destruction of holy sites) will ensure that we'll win the hearts and minds of the world's entire muslim population and eliminate the true cause of terrorism, thus protecting national security.

So if the attacks originate in, say Pakistan, then we should still bomb saudi arabia? Funny, I didn't hear you supporting military action against saudi arabia when the 9/11 hijackers turned out to be saudis.

Uhhh....yeah, that's nice. But that's not what I meant. There have been countless discussions about the 9/11 hijackers being saudi, and instead of going after Iraq, we should have at least targeted Saudi Arabia to appease Bush's bloodthirst.

Sound confusing and misleading? So did Bush's justification for war with Iraq. And yet here we go again. Target another country with no terrorist involvement (at the government level) for retaliation.

The videos of Muslims holding up burning American flags aren't the majority. An anaology would be: You don't here reports about planes that make succesful flights, you only hear about the crashes.
