You'd think the values party would have something to say about this, but then again, she was giving them money:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Blond porn star, political candidate. And now you can add one more line to Mary Carey's resume: Republican booster.

Carey was in Washington Tuesday to attend the President's Dinner, an annual fundraiser put on by the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

A few hours before the dinner, Carey met with reporters to show off her evening gown and talk about a Republican lunch she and her boss, adult film executive Mark Kulkis, attended.

"I met a lot of nice people," Carey said of the lunch, where presidential adviser Karl Rove spoke. "I met some people who talked about helping me with donating money to my next campaign."

She plans to run for lieutenant governor of California next year as an independent. But her trip to Washington has swayed Carey's political leanings. She says she's been a Republican "for a couple of days."

Anyone expecting her to cause a scene with her attire at the President's Dinner might be disappointed.

She was wearing a black, floor-length gown. The only color added to the outfit was her red, white and blue Republican elephant lapel pin and similarly patriotic fingernails.

Not really a scandal or anything, I just found it humorous. I was suprised they'd allow her to attend a fundraiser, I figured they would have stricter controls over who attended, it's not like she's unknown. She made quite a name for herself during the california governor election. It also seems like she was more than welcome there, at least that's the impression the article gave.

Though I do occasionally trade guides, and I post in the off topic forum sometimes.
 
I just saw this article on MSNBC's website. I'm sure this isn't going to go over well with their grassroots.

Wow, I never knew they were married. I watched them bicker on Meet the Press every now and then, but never put two and two together.

Now I know.

I love porn. I am pleased that the porn industry is siding with freedom loving republicans.

As long as their money is green I'd take donations from any American that earned it legally. Last I checked, the porn business is legal.

I get it.

Porn, free sex, and homosexuality is wrong, immoral, and should be illegal and everyone involves should die and burn in hell.

Unless they give you money, in which case it is perfectly fine and acceptable.

I think Quack was referring to the Republican party platform, not so much as you in particular.
 
2nd Ammendment proponent as well. I'm looking forward to buying my Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle with teflon coated rounds someday.

Pot, state issue. One plant can't be classified as a controlled substance IMHO. Stuff like heroin, cocaine etc. are processed and should be treated as controlled substances just like prescription drugs.

IE they don't want to give these people rights, but they will exploit them for money/pleasure. And Delay says that Dems have no class.
 
Ya, the homosexual bit has a point. I did some research on her and, until recently, she did all girl/girl scenes. She said that girl/girl scenes are much better than any other type. I'd guess she's at least bi.
