REQUEST: Cheap HDTV's

Ok here's the scoop:

I've been using the same 19'' bulky standard definition tv for approximately the last 8 years. I really want to upgrade to an HDTV.

Problem: I'm a college student and have basically no money. I've figured I might be able to swallow 200-300 bucks on this.

So my request is: does anyone know of any semi-decent tv's/deals that might fit this price criteria?

Obviously, if I've been using the tv I have for so long, I don't need top of the line. Anything that will serve my basic needs of making my digital cable look decent and my next gen game systems look better will do (currently I only have Wii and that's not very intensive as it is. I'd like to get a 360 at some point).

Thanks for any help!

You could go for a 22 or 24" lcd...no TV tuner though, but if you really wanted channels, you could pick up a USB/coaxial TV Tuner for $30 or 40. Make sure you have the right connections on the back of the monitor.

Another option could be craigslist. I know around here in Newport Beach, a bunch of people always sell their bigass 55" HDTVs (the big boxy ones) for 300-500.

look for a 30 inch CRT HDTV. They are huge, and heavy, but cheap and good quality. I have a philips, some people like them, some don't. I like mine.

Good luck!

actually, i live in philadelphia so that's do-able. how good is the quality on it and what are the specifications? like do you know what resolution it goes to, what kind of connections it has, etc etc just so i know
